MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific are offering seat sales this month as part of their respective anniversary celebration.

PAL, which will mark its 80th anniversary on March 15, is offering one-way economy base fares for domestic flights for as low as P80 and roundtrip economy base fares for international flights for as low as $80.

Booking period for the sale is from March 1 to 14. Travel period for domestic flights is from March 1 onwards, while that for international flights is from March 16 onwards.

“The month of March is special to Philippine Airlines because this is the flag carrier’s anniversary month,” it said.

PAL said its guests would also experience safe and worry-free travels with unlimited rebooking.

Rebooking must be made seven days prior to departure and fare differences may apply.

“PAL is strictly implementing new normal health and safety protocols to ensure that you are protected as you travel with us,” the airline assured.

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific is celebrating its 25 years with its first ever month-long P25 seat sale.

Flights to any domestic destination are on sale for the entire month of March for travel until Dec. 31.

The budget carrier will also be offering 25 percent off for flight add-ons and its trademark piso sale on top of the P25 month-long sale.

Cebu Pacific has permanently removed change fees to enable passengers to rebook as many times as they need.
