Eplayment expands services, adds Lyka
MANILA, Philippines — Gaming multi-platform Eplayment Corp. has expanded its services with the addition of Silicon Valley and Hong Kong-based social media app Lyka.
With the partnership, the purchase of Lyka’s digital gift certificates called GEMs (Giftcard in Electronic Mode) would be made easier for Filipino users as Eplayment’s Epaygames platform connects different payment channels to the Lyka platform.
Lyka users may now transact using GCash, Paymaya, Bayad Center, BDO, BPI and many other payment gateways, empowering Lyka to accept payments over-the-counter, via cash, through online banking and e-wallets.
“We’re really excited about this partnership and what it means for the future of both payment networks and social media networks in the Philippines,” said Karlos Naidas, Eplayment founder and CEO.
These digital gift certificates called GEMs can be bought in the Lyka app and can be shared among friends, exchanged for goods in its partner stores, or can be used to redeem products on the Lyka Mall. Products include gadgets, fashion, lifestyle and even hotel accommodations
Naidas said the partnership, along with earlier ones forged with Multisys and EON, continues to show that Eplayment is at the forefront of the cashless society trend along with other companies in the Philippines.
