AllHome aims to double market share next year

MANILA, Philippines — AllHome Corp., the listed one-stop shop for home and office needs owned by the Villar Group, is targeting to double its market share next year as it continues to expand its footprint in Metro Manila and beyond.

“The company aims to at least double its market share of 7.1 percent in the home improvement industry by next year as we increase our net selling space to at least double as well by end 2020,” said AllHome vice chairman Camille Villar.

“Expansion is focused on Mega Manila for now, but the longer-term plan is to taking AllHome to the rest of the Philippines,” she said.

The home improvement industry remains under-penetrated which means there is still so much room for growth, said AllHome chairman Manuel B. Villar Jr.

“We remain confident with our expansion program for the rest of the year. We are taking advantage of the under-penetrated home improvement industry in the Philippines by bringing AllHome to more locations,” he said.

AllHome opened stores in Starmall Alabang, Starmall San Jose del Monte Bulacan and Vista Mall North Molino last month, bringing its store network to 30 stores.

The company is on track to hit its store expansion program this year.

AllHome president Benjamarie Therese Serrano said the company is also constantly improving its product portfolio.

“We are not just expanding our store network, but we are also increasing our customer base as we introduce a precursor to AllHome in areas where house construction is just starting to provide more dedicated offerings and services to builders and contractors during the construction phase,” Serrano said.

Serrano said AllHome has several formats to cater to the different needs of customers.

She said these include a multi-format strategy such as large mall based, large free standing, small specialty, and the AllBuilders.
