10th Asia ceo Awards on October 15

MANILA, Philippines — The prestigious and much awaited 10th Asia CEO Awards will once again unfold on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel at 5 p.m.

Now on its 10th year, the Asia CEO Awards are bestowed on senior business leaders from the Philippines and the Asia Pacific rim who have shown outstanding managerial expertise and leadership in their respective industry sectors. Likewise, the criteria include an evaluation of their effective innovative style of management, concern for human resources, the environment, and social responsibility towards the greater community that they serve, among others.

The Asia CEO Awards also brings the Philippines to the limelight, as a number of our top managers have contributed immensely to promoting our country as one of the region’s premier business destinations, perceived by our global partners today as a burgeoning center of economic growth.

The annual awardees are selected from a number of nominees per category, by a prestigious and renowned Board of Judges. On this 10th year of the awards, selecting the most outstanding awardees are:

Former ambassador to the United States and Central Bank governor Jose Cuisia; former secretary of finance Cesar Purisima. Former CEO of Convergys Asia, Marife Zamora; director of the University of Asia and the Pacific and prominent economist Bernie Villegas; former CEO of Pag-IBIG Darlene Berberabe; Award-winning architect and strategic land use planner Arch. Felino Palafox, Jr.; Don Felbaum, former president of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, and Oscar Sanez, vice president, international, of San Miguel Pure Foods, and past lifetime contributor awardee of Asia CEO Awards.
