Megaworld expanding luxury residential footprint in McKinley

MANILA, Philippines — Megaworld Corp., the Andrew Tan-led property giant, is expanding its luxury residential footprint inside the 34.5-hectare McKinley West  in  Taguig with the launch of a new development.

The Albany Yorkshire Villa will be completed in 2023 and is expected to generate around P3-billion in sales.

The new development will rise in what is touted as the “billionaire’s row” beside the posh McKinley West Village in the area, Megaworld vice president for sales and marketing Rachelle Peñaflorida said.

She said Megaworld’s new project would cater to a niche market of highly-discerning privileged few who want to live in an exclusive community of affluent urban dwellers.

“This isn’t a place to be seen, but a private abode where everything is still within easy reach,” Peñaflorida said.

Addressing the needs of the discerning market, the Albany Yorkshire Villa has 64 spacious suites with a size of 121 square meters for two-bedroom suites and 133 sqm. for a three bedroom suite.

The exclusive four-bedroom penthouse suites offer generous 349-square meter of three-level space with their own private infinity pool at the roofdeck.

Furthermore, all suites of The Albany Yorkshire Villa have private high-speed elevators that open directly to each unit’s foyer. Each residential suite can only be accessed using keycards, including the amenity deck and other facilities in the property.

Megaworld tapped UK-based award-winning architectural firm, Broadway Malyan as the designer of The Albany Yorkshire Villa which would have its own infinity pool, children’s pool, in-water lounge deck and pool deck, fitness center, spa, sauna room, kids’ playground, game and entertainment room, function rooms, and outdoor cabanas.

“Each suite at The Albany is a curated expression of opulence and privacy. We carefully planned the entire development to make it a class of its own in Metro Manila’s ultra-luxury residential market,” Peñaflorida said.

All suites will also have built-in appliances by Bosch, kitchen system by Leicht, kitchen appliances by Gaggenau and Bosch, toilet fixtures by Duravit’s Philippe Starck Collection, and bathroom fixtures by Hansgrohe Axor Starck and Grohe.  

Units also have quarters for helpers with their own toilet and bath, and a powder room for guests.

All master bedrooms will have custom-built walk-in closets and bathtubs.
