LIST: Flights canceled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila International Airport Authority announced that a number of flights are grounded on Sunday due to bad weather.

At least two flights of Cebu Pacific headed to and from Tuguegarao were canceled due to the inclement weather.

The state weather bureau said amihan or northeast monsoon are brining rains over some parts of northern Luzon.

It added that it is monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine area of responsibility. The weather disturbance was located at 980 kilometers east of Mindanao as of at 10 a.m.

It is moving generally westward near Palau and is expected to enter PAR this early afternoon. It will be named "Chedeng."
