ABS-CBN opens indoor amusement park

MANILA, Philippines — TV network giant ABS-CBN Corp. is opening a pioneer studio city in the Philippines today.

The ABS-CBN Studio Experience or Studio XP, an indoor amusement park located at the fourth floor of the TriNoma mall, brings a combination of physical attractions and digital innovations. 

Studio XP is divided into three studios – Fantasy, Reality, and Retail – with a total of 15 attractions situated in a 1,400 square meter site.

“Studio XP welcomes guests into a uniquely themed attraction cum experience store, allowing for an action-packed and awe-inspiring visit for the whole gang,” ABS-CBN said.

The company said visitors should be prepared to spend about two and a half hours in a shift to take full advantage of the facility.  

Visitors can avail of XPass Prime tickets at P375 for first-timers and at P350 for returning guests with access to all attractions except #Starsnaps and Star Catcher, while there is also the XPass Lite option at P300 for first-timers and at P275 for returning visitors which excludes access to the Kapamilya Theater, #Starsnaps and Star Catcher.

ABS-CBN said its programs continued to attract more viewers nationwide, making it the most watched TV network in the country last month with an average audience share of 44 percent as compared to GMA’s 32 percent.

ABS-CBN’s data came from multinational audience measurement provider Kantar Media which uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes.

Aside from radio and television, ABS-CBN is also into local music, film, cable TV, and publishing industries, and digital television.

As of July this year, ABS-CBN TVplus already sold 5.5 million boxes since its launch in 2015.
