Seminar on effective squatter eviction

MANILA, Philippines — A property owner’s worst nightmare is to have abusive squatters, professional squatting syndicates and unlawful tenants on one’s own premises. How do you eject abusive squatters effectively? With the clamor of many who need help on this, the Center for Global Best Practices is holding a seminar titled, “A Property Owner’s Guide to Ejecting Illegal Dwellers Effectively: Strategies, Legal Procedures, and Solutions” on Nov. 24 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

The law on ejectment is a special law that is not taught in law schools. Many lawyers make mistakes in filing such cases at the expense of the property owners.
