Robinsons Malls extends assistance to Iligan evacuees

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -  Robinsons Malls, through The Gift of Change, recently provided assistance to the evacuees in Iligan City by mobilizing relief operations to help the victims and their families who were displaced by the crisis.

The Iligan-based team of Robinsons Malls visited several evacuation centers in Iligan City located  in  Brgy. Sta. Elena and Brgy. Buru-un, where over 250  families  are currently residing. Relief goods were also distributed  to families currently housed   in the Regional Command and Coordination Center.

Recipients received relief packs containing basic food items such as canned goods, biscuits and noodles which became an opportunity for the residents to gradually recover from the pains and losses they experienced caused by the ongoing conflict in the province.

The Gift of Change program is part of Robinsons Malls’ corporate social responsibility program focused on community development, health and wellness programs for the less fortunate Filipinos. Current projects include The Gift of Sight, Libreng Bakuna, Bike for Change, and  Relief Operations.
