E-trike maker delivers 100 units to Mandaluyong
MANILA, Philippines - Electric tricycle (e-trike) maker EV Wealth Inc. is scaling up its operations in other cities in Metro Manila after it delivered the country’s largest fleet of e-trikes to Mandaluyong City.
EV Wealth announced yesterday it completed the delivery of 100 units to customers in Mandaluyong, commercially known as ETrikeBayan, which form part of the initial batch produced by the e-trike maker since it started its operation last January.
With the delivery, the firm now has the largest single fleet of e-trikes deployed in the country, EV Wealth general manager Albert Avecilla said.
Following its initial success, EV Wealth said it is now scaling up and expanding its operation to other local government units in Metro Manila.
The company is looking at neighboring cities like Makati, Pasig and Quezon City for its expansion plan, public relations consultant Melchor Amado said by phone.
“Since we started in Mandaluyong, the logical places to expand is Makati, Pasig and Quezon City,” he said.
Amado said Mandaluyong is becoming a saturated market for e-trikes, with the company delivering nearly 200 units by June or July.
In Mandaluyong, Avecilla said the strong demand for the ETrikeBayan brand is due to its innovative concept and design in line with Mayor Benhur Abalos’ vision to make Mandaluyong a “green city.”
He also said EV Wealth is offering a complete mass transport solution to communities which includes affordable end-user financing package provided by Radiowealth Finance Co.
