Franchise Asia to focus on global opportunities

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), recognizing that the global economy is increasingly becoming more integrated, continues to be at the forefront in looking for solutions and opportunities to help Philippine franchising and entrepreneurs reap the benefits of a steadily shifting global economic paradigm.

“This year’s APEC summit in the Philippines, the impending ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the numerous free trade agreements (FTAs) that our country is a party of, the likely entry of the Philippines in the Trans Pacific Partnership and other trade partnerships are timely reminders and clear indications that the global economy is now linked with a network of freeways allowing for freer trade,” PFA president Franklin Go, who is also vice president of  Goldilocks said.

“It is in this context that we are holding Franchise Asia Philippines 2015 as we continue to strengthen efforts to help Philippine franchises expand in foreign markets while promoting the Philippines as an investment destination for foreign franchises thus solidifying our position as the franchise hub of Asia,” Go said.

With the theme, “Opportunities and Challenges in an Integrated Global Economy”, Franchise Asia Philippines 2015 presents strategies, solutions and opportunities to help the sector take the full advantage of an integrated global economy, Franchise Asia Philippines 2015 over-all chairman and chairman of Max’s Group of Companies Robert F. Trota, said.

Franchise Asia Philippines 2015, slated on June 10-14 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, is acknowledged as the biggest franchise show in Asia and is considered one of the most important trade shows in the country.  The week-long event expects to shatter previous records in terms of conference delegates and expo visitors.

Co-presented by BPI Family Ka-Negosyo Franchising Loan, PLDT SME Nation, Smart and Sun Cellular, Franchise Asia Philippines 2015 will feature a two-day international franchise conference on July 10-11; a three-day international franchise expo on July 18-20; franchise educational seminars on July 18-20; and, the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program on July 16-17. Noted franchise expert Harish Babla will be the program speaker and facilitator for this year’s CFE program.
