MANILA, Philippines — Since opening in 2014, mini-mart chain Alfamart Philippines has successfully established its presence in Luzon thanks to shortened lead times and quick electrification processes by Meralco. “At the store level, we work with Meralco in coming up with energy guidelines to reduce the power usage of air conditioning units, warehouses and cold storage. We look forward to appreciating all these savings in the coming months. Any savings we get is going to be very helpful,” Ong explains.
