Stratworks is Agency of the Year again at Philippine Quill Awards

MANILA, Philippines – Strategic Works, Inc. (Stratworks), one of the country’s leading independent marketing communications agencies, has again won the coveted Agency of the Year plum during the Philippine Quill Awards 2015 held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport City. This makes the agency the first-ever back-to-back winner of the prestigious award.

Stratworks was also the most awarded among all competing agencies, harvesting a total of 13 Quills, including seven Excellence trophies.

For Unilever Philippines, Stratworks received seven Quills, including two excellence awards in the communication management category for its “Domex One Million Clean Toilets Movement,” a high-impact disease-prevention drive for low-income communities.

The agency also bagged an excellence award in the communication management category for Unilever’s kid-targeted promotion of life-saving hygiene, the “2014 Unilever Global Handwashing Day.”

More trophies were won for “Surf Labahan Station,” which provides sustainable filtered water in Yolanda-devastated communities in Tacloban, Leyte; the Surf “Sachet Recovery Program,” which repurposed empty sachets into cement pavers donated to schools and typhoon-hit communities; and the Unilever Pureit “Sure Ka Ba? MFI Testimonial Video,” which showcased the empowerment of needy communities to acquire safe, affordable drinking water.

For Jollibee Foods Corporation, Stratworks received three excellence awards for the “We are Chickenjoy Nation” video that celebrated Jollibee Chicken as an icon of Filipino joy and foodie culture; “Project Pag-asa,” Jollibee’s unprecedented outreach project to Spratlys island residents; and the “Fourth Jollibee Family Values Awards,” an annual recognition of exemplary Filipino families locally and abroad, which also won a Special Events merit award.

KidZania Manila’s “Launch Awareness Campaign,” which proposed the value of role-play among children, likewise earned an excellence award in the customer relations category.

The agency’s work also plucked a merit award in the media relations category for Robinsons Supermarket’s “Health and Wellness” program, which advocates nutritious eating and healthy living among Filipino families.

“We are honored by this back-to-back Philippine Quill Agency of the Year titles, and it also inspires us to continuously set the benchmark for effective communications campaigns,” said Donna Nievera-Conda, Stratworks managing director.

Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards is an annual competition that recognizes excellence in professional communication.
