Five decades of exemplary management

The Management Association of the Philippines celebrated 50 years of Management Man of the Year Awards with a fabulous dinner and a Viennathemed concert in the chandelieradorned Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La, Manila. Led by MAP president Ramoncito “Mon” Fernandez and MAP National Issues and Arts and Culture Committees chair Eddie Yap , the event was a celebration of five decades of recognizing remarkable men and women for their accomplishments in leadership management, and for serving as inspiration and role models for Filipino managers in their pursuit of excellence. The very fi rst MMY awardee was the late great Washington Sycip  in 1967. The most recent was John Gokongwei Jr. in 2017. Congratulations to the Management Association of the Philippines for a successful celebration!
