“Finally after a thorough deliberation and observance of due process the Committee on Ethics and Priveleges hereby recommends to the House of Representatives the imposition of the penalty of 60 days suspension from the service upon Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. for disorderly behavior,” ayon kay House Ethics Committee Chairman COOP NATCCO Partylist Rep. Felimon Espares.
“As everybody on this August hall would know, the case became a celebrated one because it has put the institution with different views and perspective surrounding his failure to return to the country despite the expiration of his travel clearance,” pahayag pa ni Espares.
“This amounts to to question the institution moral foundation to protect its integrity, dignity and reputation as a mode of self-preservation of the Committee in particular,” saad pa ni Espares.
