MANILA, Philippines (Updated 11:49 a.m.)

  • Direksyon: pahilagangkanluran hilaganglkanluran
  • Pagkilos: 20 kilometro kada oras

"INDAY intensified into severe tropical storm at 8:00 AM today. Further intensification is forecast to occur until Sunday or early Monday as INDAY tracks northwestward over the Philippine Sea," paliwanag ng state weather bureau, Biyernes.

"Aside from rain showers caused by its trough, Severe Tropical Storm INDAY remains less likely to bring heavy rains in the country throughout the forecast period."

"Severe Tropical Storm INDAY is forecast to move generally northwestward over the Philippine Sea until Sunday before tuning more north northwestward or northward over the sea east of Taiwan while decelerating," dagdag pa ng state meteorologists.

"On the track forecast, this tropical cyclone may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility early next week."
