Marcos: Sara Duterte, pumayag maging susunod na DepEd Secretary
MANILA, Philippines — Si Vice -presidential frontrunner Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio ang napipisil ni presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. na magiging susunod na kalihim ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa sandaling tuluyan na silang maluklok sa puwesto.
Sa isang televised speech, sinabi ni Marcos na pumayag na rin si Inday Sara na tanggapin ang hamon ng naturang posisyon.
“I’ve already been authorized to announce the first nominee we will be giving to the Commission on Appointments when the time comes should I be proclaimed,” ani Marcos. “That is that our incoming Vice President has agreed to take the Department of Education.”
Ani Marcos, tinanong niya si Duterte kung kaya nito ang naturang trabaho at sumang-ayon naman aniya ito.
“Tinanong ko sa kanya kung kaya n’ya ‘yung trabaho dahil mahirap ang trabaho ng secretary of education. Pero nag-agree naman siya,” dagdag pa ni Marcos.
Nauna nang target ni Sara na mapamunuan ang Department of National Defense (DND).
Sina Marcos at Duterte ay kasalukuyang nangunguna sa partial/unofficial na bilangan ng boto sa katatapos na May 9 elections.
