2 Omicron variant cases naitala sa Camarines Sur, ayon sa DOH-Bikol
Residents carrying their belongings and wearing face masks, arrive at a school compound serving as temporary shelter in Sorsogon town, Bicol region, south of Manila on May 14, 2020, as Typhoon Vongfong approaches. A powerful typhoon hit the central Philippines on May 14, forcing a complicated and risky evacuation for tens of thousands already hunkered down at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Because of the twin threat of the storm and the virus, evacuation centres in the central Philippines will only accept half their capacity and evacuees will have to wear facemasks.

  • asymptomatic
  • fully-vaccinated ng Sinovac
  • gumaling na

46-anyos na kaso

  • school staff member
  • unang inakalang Delta variant, Omicron pala noong inulit
  • nagkaroon ng mild signs and symptoms noong ika-16 ng Nobyembre

"With this development, the Bicol CHD is coordinating with the local health authorities, through the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) of the Camarines Sur Provincial Health Office for immediate response," ayon sa ahensya.

"An urgent call to trace and identify all contacts up to the 3rd generation of cases is strongly recommended to commence immediately."
