Duterte dadagdagan pa mga eskwelang kasali sa pilot face-to-face classes
MANILA, Philippines — Aprubado na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagdadagdag pa sa mga inisyal na paaralang lalahok sa pilot implementation ng face-to-face classes, paglalahad ng Department of Education (DepEd) ngayong araw.
Ayon sa kagawaran, naging assessment nila sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Department of Health (DOH) na magka-qualify pa ang mas maraming eskwelahan sa naturang pilot run dahil sa pag-igi ng COVID-19 situation sa mga lokalidad sa buong Pilipinas.
"From the initial 100 public schools and 20 private schools, DepEd and DOH will determine the final number of pilot schools based on DepEd’s evaluation of school readiness and DOH assessment of the COVID-risk level. We will announce the additional pilot schools once validated," ayon sa DepEd, Biyernes.
"The expansion of the number of pilot schools will allow a greater degree of experience among all our regions that will serve us well for the expanded phase of face-to-face classes."
With the approval of the Office of the President, the Department of Education is announcing that it will increase the number of participating schools in the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes.

Sa ngayon, tuloy na tuloy pa rin naman daw ang pilot face-to-face classes sa 100 pampublikong paaralang unang tinukoy ng gobyerno sa ika-15 ng Nobyembre.
Samantala, magsisimula naman sa ika-22 ng Nobyembre ang 20 pribadong paaralang mapipili mula sa 30 na kandidato ngayon para sa face-to-face classes.
"From the latest transmittal of DOH, 484 out of the 638 passed their granular risk assessment as minimal or low-risk. We have also received several appeals from LGUs, including NCR, to have their schools in their jurisdiction selected in the pilot implementation," dagdag pa ng DepEd.
Bagama't meron nang operational guidelines pagdating sa pagbabalik ng mga harapang klase sa elementarya't piling mga hayskul, 13 grupo ang nagsasabing "deficient" pa ito o kulang para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga bata laban sa COVID-19.
Ilan sa mga hinihiling ngayon ng National Union of Students of the Philippines, Kabataan, Bayan, atbp. ang "lingguhang COVID-19 antigen testing," special vaccination, atbp. ng mga estudyante, mga guro at staff na lalahok sa pilot run — bagay na hindi nire-require ng DepEd.
