'No threat monitored': Pulis, militar alerto sa terrorist warning mula Japan
MANILA, Philippines — Bagama't walang nakikitang direktang banta sa seguridad ng banta, hindi nagpapakantante ngayon ang uniformed personnel ng Pilipinas matapos makakuha ng babala mula sa foreign governments.
Martes kasi nang ianunsyo ng Embahada ng Japan sa Maynila na may impormasyon sila tungkol sa posibleng pag-atake ng mga terorista sa Southeast Asian countries — kasama na ang Pilipinas. Gayunpaman, wala na silang ibinigay na detalye rito.
"We have not received any report on possible terror attacks as advised by the Japan Foreign Ministry but this does not mean that we would lower our guard on this matter," wika ni Philippine National Police Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar kahapon.
"Noon pa man ay patuloy ang aming intelligence-monitoring especially after the 9/11 attack in the US and the Marawi City incident, at nananatiling maigting ang ating pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba’t-ibang bansa laban sa terorismo through information-sharing and strategic partnership in dealing with terror groups."
Wala tayong natanggap na impormasyon sa possible terrorist attack, pero nakabantay at nakamonitor tayo dito.

Maliban sa Pilipinas, sinabi ni Eleazar na isinama raw ng Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs ang Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand at Myanmar sa listahan ng mga may mga risk ng suicide bombings sa ngayon.
Nakikipag-ugnayan naman daw ang pulisiya sa militar para siguruhing ligtas ang bansa. Tulut-tuloy lang naman daw sila sa pagkalat ng impormasyon para mapigilan ang anumang plano ng mga "lawless groups," mula sa loob at labas ng bansa.
Nakaantabay din naman ang mga armadong unit ng pamahalaan lalo na sa Mindanao simula nang maagaw grupong Taliban ang Afghanistan. Hindi raw kasi iniisantabi ng gobyerno na maaaring umabot sa Pilipinas ang kaguluhan.
'Moderate risk lang'
Kung ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) naman ang tatanungin, "katamtaman" lang ang antas ng banta na meron sa Pilipinas sa ngayon.
"The AFP take seriously all received reports that pertains to security matters, especially on terrorism," ani Philippine Army spokesperson Lt. Col. Demy Zagala, Miyerkules.
"We constantly validate all reports on security matters and it is a continuous process. As per last review our threat level is moderate."

Opisyal naman na raw na na na-inform ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) pagdasting sa isyu sa ngayon, ayon sa isang pahayag ng kagawaran. Ayaw pa naman ding ibahagi ng Japan kung sino ang kanilang source sa balita.
"Travel alerts for a country’s citizens are usually not officially notified to other countries, however, this type of information may have been shared among intelligence agencies," sabi ng DFA.
