"He was 100 lbs, taking dialysis 3x a week.

Sa kanyang 2015 State of the Nation Address, maaalalang pitong beses siyang umubo.

"My heartfelt condolences to the family of former President Benigno C. Aquino III, a 'classmate' in Congress from 1998 to 2007. I will always treasure the memories of our long years together as freshmen legislators and members of a tiny opposition," wika ni Marcos.

"For beyond politics and much public acrimony, I knew Noynoy as a kind and simple soul. He will be deeply missed."

"We commiserate po and condole with the family and loved ones of former President Benigno Simeon 'Noynoy' Aquino III, as we extend our condolences on his untimely demise," ani presidential spokesperson Harry Roque sa isang press briefing.

"We're grateful for the former president for his contribution and services to the country. We ask our people to offer a prayer for the internal repose [of the soul] of the former chief executive. Rest in peace, mister president."

"I beg his sisters to allow me the honor to share their grief. He wasn't fond of me but I could not bring myself not to admire him," ani Locsin.

"No matter what political side you're on, when a former president passes away, the country mourns," ayon naman kay Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III sa ulat ng News5.

"As the leader of our nation, we knew him as 'PNoy.' He championed good governance reforms that promoted efficiency and reduced opportunities for corruption. The Philippines was cited as the fastest-growing economy in Asia during his administration," ani Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso sa isang statement.

"PNoy was a pragmatic man who did the best with the cards that life had dealt him. He inspired us with his unexpected humility. May his legacy continue to lead others to the right path."

International community

"The EU Delegation and EU family in Manila express their condolences to the Aquino family and the whole nation on the passing of former President Benigno Noynoy Aquino III," ayon sa EU.

"Fond memories of his visit to Brussels in 2014. We mourn a friend who pushed for deepening of our relations."
