Velasco ininsulto ang AFP sa isyu ng red tagging
“With all due respect, Speaker Lord Allan Velasco. I understand you and all other congressmen are duly elected officials. And that you must speak this way to protect the men and women in Congress. But that does not mean you get to dictate military or legal strategy”, pahayag ni Angeles na sinabing sinisira ni Velasco ang kampanya ng gobyerno laban sa communist group.

MANILA, Philippines — Isang insulto, panghihimasok at pangmamaliit sa kredibilidad at kakayahan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang ginawang pagtatanggol ni House Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco sa red tagging laban sa Makabayan bloc solons.

Ito ang pahayag ni Atty. Trixie Angeles, matapos na kampihan pa ni Velasco ang Makabayan bloc solons sa naging akusasyon ni National Task Force To End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) Spokesman Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. na may ugnayan ang nasabing mga progresisong mambabatas sa CPP-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA).

“Are you are trying to stop the AFP? Please don’t. Maybe we can save families from being broken, kids from dying senselessly. Don’t you think it is worth it?” pasaring pa ni Angeles kay Velasco.
