P4.1 trilyong budget sa 2020 tiniyak na maipapasa
MANILA, Philippines — Siniguro kahapon ni Senate Majority Leader Migz Zubiri na prayoridad ng Senado sa pagpapatuloy ng sesyon sa susunod na linggo ang pagpasa ng P4.1 trilyong 2020 budget.
“The Senate Finance Committee will definitely be busy conducting marathon hearings on the proposed P4.1 trillion National Government budget for next year. Congress is set to resume sessions after a one-month recess to tackle the 2020 Budget and other priority measures,” wika ni Zubiri.
Aniya, mahalagang maipasa ang 2020 budget upang hindi na maulit ang reenacted budget sa unang mga buwan ng 2019.
“We had experienced difficulties when we failed to pass the 2019 Budget on time,” paliwanag niya.
“We had a re-enacted budget for the first semester of this year forcing National Government agencies to compress their timelines. Consequently, many important programs and projects for the benefit of our people were delayed,” sabi pa ni Zubiri.
Bukod sa 2020 budget ay target ng Senado na matapos ang debate sa 8 panukalang batas.
