Duterte hinikayat ang mga Pinoy na tularan si Rizal para sa bayan

MANILA, Philippines – Sa araw ng paggunita kay Jose Rizal, hinikayat ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga Pilipino na tularan ang pambansang bayani.

Sa kaniyang mensahe, nanawagan si Duterte para sa pagkakaisa ng bayan tungo sa pag-unlad lalo na’t hindi pa rin aniya tuluyan malaya ang Pilipinas.

“We may also awaken and become our own heroes – committed to advocate good governance and uphold the rule of law, steadfast to end criminality and all forms of government corruption; and compassionate to the plight of the poor and less privileged.

Dagdag niya na nakikipaglaban pa rin ang bansa laban sa kahirapan, krimen, ilegal na droga at katiwalian.

“Indeed, they are our present enemies. They are the modern invaders that subjugate our people’s hearts, minds and spirits,” wika ng Pangulo.

Sinabi pa ni Duterte na upang maatim ang “genuine change” ay kinakailangan kumilos ang lahat.

“As the nation undergoes a significant phase of social development and economic growth, a period of national unity that calls for the cooperation, patience, and sacrifice of our people is necessary,” ani Duterte.

Mula nang maupo sa pwesto ay inilunsad ni Duterte ang giyera laban sa ilegal na droga.

Sinabi niya kahapon na magtatagal ang pagsugpo dito hanggang sa dulo ng kaniyang termino o hanggang maubos ang nagpapakalat ng droga.

“Until the last pusher is out of the street, I’ll be very frank with you, until the last drug lord is killed, this campaign will continue until the very last day of my term.”
