TF on media killings binuo ni Duterte
MANILA, Philippines - Nagpalabas ng administrative order si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para sa pagbuo ng Task Force on Media Killings, ayon kay Presidential Communications Sec. Martin Andanar.
Sinabi ni Sec. Andanar sa media briefing sa Malacanang, layunin ng AO no. 1 ni Pangulong Duterte sa pagbuo ng Task Force ay pamumunuan ni Justice Sec. Vitallano Aguirre.
Wika pa ni Sec. Andanar, nais protektahan ng estado ang media people lalo na ang nakakatanggap ng mga threats.
“Because he (Duterte) cares for media people,” giit pa ng PCO chief sa media briefing.
Aniya, magkakaroon ng imbentaryo ng mga kaso ang Presidential Task Force on media killings.
“The Function. Inventory of Cases: For the first 30 days, the Presidential Task Force shall conduct an inventory of all the cases of violence against Media Workers perpetrated by State and non-State forces alike, from all government sources, for example, the investigative and prosecutorial government offices, including the National Prosecution Service, the Solicitor General, the Ombudsman, CHR, PNP, NBI, AFP, People’s Law Enforcement Board, the National Police Commission or NAPOLCOM, PNP Internal Affairs Service, the Judiciary, and other—and all others, for purposes of categorizing said cases, as follows: Number one, unsolved cases; number two, cases under investigation; number three, cases under preliminary investigation; number four, cases under trial; and number five, cases under appeal.
Simultaneously, the Presidential Task Force shall also source data of cases from non-government sources, specifically independent and non-partisan international and national human rights organizations and groups. In determining which cases are to be included in the inventory, the Presidential Task Force shall draw upon guidelines for the consideration of doubtful cases,” dagdag pa ni Andanar.
