Utang

Today let’s talk about utang. Utang nga kinahanglang bayaran. Utang nga bunga sa atong kaluoy. Utang nga maoy makaguba sa relasyon. Utang nga sigurado ko daghang maka-relate ug makaingon, ingon ani sab ko. Biktima sab ko. Nadismaya sab ko. Pakkk!

So let me share my Facebook post last Friday evening.: Sooner or later, I will block people nga LIMOT-LIMUTAN lang ilang UTANG! Because, I'm not like them. Ask around, inquire from those who are close to me, and they will all tell you, DI GYUD KO MAHIMUTANG KON NAA KOY UTANG AND MAHADLOK KAY KO MANGUTANG!

Dili baya gyud ko manukot. But then, if you'll choose to forget your responsibility to me and pretend as if you owe me nothing, that's breach of trust. And trust once broken can never be the same again. So I'd rather cut for good whatever it is that binds us.

Dili sab tamo ipang-tag kay kamo mismo kahibawo kinsay gipasabot ani nga post. Gikaluoy gud mo nako in those times that you needed help. I'm sure you will never forget that fact. I was there in your need. That alone is very precious and you should nurture. Utang manto. Mao may inyong ingon. The fact that you promised to pay me on a certain date or on a particular month but failed, means it was utang. Lahi ang utang. Lahi sab ang hatag.

Money gyud ang gi-utang, dili product. Imagine, sa ka tihik nako ug sa ka pobre, nipautang pa gyud ko. Because when I was in need, in those very trying times sa akong pamilya, God sent angels to help us in our financial challenges. I know how it feels. But wala gyud ko/mi gitabla ato. Gihinay-hinay gyud to namo'g bayad tanan. Nihangyo, nakig-negotiate because normal man gyud na nga wakay ikabayad sab gyud usahay. But when you promise to do or to give, you should make it happen. That's word of honor in action.

There you go. And the sad thing about it kay in the end of it all, ikaw maoy mugawas nga dautan. Ikaw na ang nagpautang, ikaw pa gyud maoy sayup kay nganong manukot ka. Pakkk! And the sadder fact is that, maguba gyud inyong panaghigalaay eventually. Sakit palandungon nga tanan gumikan ra sa utang nga wala ka bayri. Kay mahiubos ug masakitan man gyud ka gumikan kay wala baya na nimo pamunita ang kwarta nga imong gipahuwam. Pakkk! Kinsay maka relate?
