Kauban ni Van Gundy isip mga halangdong dinapit sa maong kalihukan mao sila si 10-time USA Basketball Junior National Team head coach Don Showalter, kanhi St. Anthony's head coach ug Naismith Hall of Famer Bob Hurley, motivational speaker Jordan Montgomery, Ocean City High School girls coach Stephanie Gaitley, Christ The King High School coach Joe Arbitello, Ridgefield High School coach Andrew McClellan, ug Monteverde High School coach Todd Cooper.

"As a coach, we must have organization in practice and thoughts. I also learned two types of coaches, those that are humbled and those that will be humbled. "Coach Stan Van Gundy talked mostly about his experience as an NBA head coach, that you must be a disciplined coach and must respect your players and their different personalities. On the other hand, Bob Hurley's topic centered on defensive drills."

Sila si Alcaraz, Manago, nga kanhi varsity player sa Cebu Technical School (CTS) Scanners sa dihang ang CESAFI nailhan pa nga Cebu Amateur Athletic Association (CAAA) niadtong 1995, ug Tampus katambayayong karon ni Gomez, kanhi 10-time PBA champion sa Alaska Milk apil na ang talagsaong grandslam niadtong 1996, ubos sa BSA New York, usa ka organisasyon nga gitukod nilang coach Elmer Remon ug Tots Villegas usa ka dekada na ang milabay.
