Pilipinas moduwa 46 ka events sa 2022 Asian Games

CEBU, Philippines — Naglantaw ang Pilipinas nga moduwa lang og 46 sa 61 ka sports events sa  2022 Asian Games nga gikatakda sa Septiyembre 10 hangtod 25 sunod tuig didto sa Hangzhou, China. Mobanat ang Pinoy'ng mga atleta sa  aquatics, archery, athletics, baseball, softball, men’s basketball, men’s 3x3 basketball, boxing, canoe-kayak ug cycling MTB ug BMX.

Naapil sab sa listahan sa Phl team mao ang  dancesports’ breaking, men’s dragon boat, equestrian, fencing, men’s football, golf, artistic ug rhythmic gymnastics, judo, jiu-jitsu, kurash, karate, bridge, chess, esports, xiangqi, modern pentathlon, skateboarding, rowing ug men’s rugby.

Ang Philippine team mopakita sab og aksiyon sa sailing, sepak takraw, shooting, sports climbing, squash, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s beach volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling ug wushu.

Matud pa ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham 'Bambol' Tolentino, nga ang POC nisumiter na sa lista ngadto sa Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee niadtong Biyernes.

“We based our list on our effort to surpass our last achievement of four gold medals—in Jakarta—because we improved a lot in the SEA Games,” matud pa ni Tolentino, kinsa mitudlo ni Dr. Jose Raul Canlas isip chef de mission sa Hangzhou.

Ang Pilipinas nidaog og upat ka bulawang medalya sa Jakarta 2018 Asian Games kortesiya nilang Hidilyn Diaz (weightlifting), Margielyn Didal (skateboarding), Yuka Saso (golf, women’s individual) ug Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan ug Lois Kaye Go (golf, women’s team).

Nidaog sab ang Pilipinas og duha ka silvers pinaagi nilang  Rogen Ladon (boxing) ug Kiyomi Watanabe (judo) ug 15  ka bronze medals, upat niini gikan sa pencak silat, tulo sa taekwondo ug tagurha sa boxing ug wushu ug tag-usa sa cycling, jiu-jitsu, karate ug golf.
