Roach: Pacquiao duha na lamang ka away

MANILA, Philippines — Sa panahom ni Freddie Roach, si Pinoy ring star Manny Pacquiao puwede sa duha na lamang ka away.

Ang Hall of Fame trainer miingon nga mas labing maayo nga ang 41-anyos nga si Pacquiao moretiro na gikan sa boksing ug adto na lang dad-on ang iyang kumbati sa politika aron gukdon ang iyang ambisyon nga mahimong presidente sa Pilipinas.

“I’ve had discussions with Manny on having two more fights for his career and then maybe (stay) in the politician side of it,” matud pa ni Roach segun sa taho ni Dan Rafael sa boxingscene.com. “Manny would like to fight a couple of more times and then run for the presidency of his country,” dugang pa ni Roach. “The first fighter to ever do that and it will be another part of his history and I think he will be really good at.”

Si Roach nga maoy tag-iya sa Wild Card Gym sa Hollywood, nanghinaut nga si Pacquiao makaaway sa dili pa matapos ang tuig, apan miangkon siya nga ang tanan mag-agad sa sitwasyon.

Mibutyag si Roach nga nagka-estorya na sila si Pacquiao kabahin sa potensiyal niining mga kontra. Apil sa ilang listahan ang wa'y pildeng WBO welterweight champion nga si Terence Crawford, si four-division world champion Mikey Garcia ug ang retiradong si Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Nilang tulo, si Roach mas pabor ni Garcia nga maoy makasangka ni Pacquiao sa sunod niining away.

“We talked about opponents and a couple of names come up here, a couple of names come up there. There are a lot of names coming up and so forth. I kind of like Mikey Garcia. I think that’s a really, really good fight,” sumala pa ni Roach.
