La Casinillo mibalhin sa UST Tiger Cubs
CEBU, Philippines — Si reigning CESAFI juniors MVP Leobert Andrew 'LA' Casinillo mihimo og kasikas ning panahon sa kwarantin human siya mibalhin gikan sa Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles ngadto sa University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Tiger Cubs sa UAAP.
Ang 17-anyos nga si Casinillo miingon nga gi-recruit siya ni UST head coach Aldin Ayo sa dihang ang Tigers mipahigayon og duha ka adlaw nga try-out alang sa ilang college ug high school teams niadtong Enero didto sa City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Matud pa ni Casinillo, lumad gikan sa Bacolod City, apan anaa na karon magpuyo sa Dakbayan sa Mandaue, nga iyang gipili ang UST gumikan kay anaa siya sa maayong kamot ubos sa programa ni coach Ayo.
"To my Magis Eagles family, thank you for being with me all throughout my journey here in Cebu," matud pa ni Casinillo. "Thank you to all the Magis Eagles community for your never ending support. I’ll always carry the blue blood within me." Sa pagpakli ni Casinillo og bag-ong panid sa iyang karera, ang kanhi katropa niya sa Magis Eagles naghandum sa maayo niyang ugma.
"LA (Casinillo) has been with us since he was in Grade 6 and has always been an asset to the team, and we thank him for all his hard work and service. We wish him and his father all the best," sumala pa ni SHS-Ateneo head coach Rommel Rasmo.
