PSL U21 second conference Mandaue andam mopas-an sa mabug-at nga misyon

Ang Mandaue usa sa unom ka Cebu teams nga gipangulohan sa defending champion Consolacion Sarok Weavers nga mopakita'g aksiyon sa 45 ka adlaw nga torneyo. Ang uban mao ang ARQ Builders Lapu-Lapu City Chiefs, San Fernando Buffalos, Bogo City Bogoys, ug Team Asturias.

Mohagit kanila ang upat ka bisitang koponan gikan sa Mindanao nga mao ang Davao Occidental Dreamers, Davao de Oro Future Hopes, Cagayan de Oro Sealcor Kingfishers, ug Bukidnon Cowboys.

Mobida sa Mandaue ang walo nila ka homegrown players nga sila si Zylle Cabellon, Ramon Singson, Anthony Xander Cabatingan, Vlanz Villaro Cinco, Ian Chester Abboc, Christopher Isabelo, Daryl Guerrero, ug Stephen Joash Cutamora.

Ilang makauban ang mga local players nga sila si JZ Dizon ug Sam Melicor sa Lapu-Lapu City, VJ Baruc, Jonathan Moses Manalilin, Santos Go, ug Acer Romeo Michael Go sa Cebu City, Joshua Mamites Himang sa Minglanilla, Aureo Real ug Christian Carl Sollano sa Talisay City, Johndel Balazuela sa Bogo City, Kyrie Banzon sa Carmen ug Ehman Suarez sa Sibonga.

"We have talented players and the challenge is how to make them work together, identify their strengths and weaknesses and make them compliment each other," matud pa ni Ylaya, nga usa ka champion player ug coach atol sa mabulokon niyang mga tuig uban sa University of the Visayas (UV) Lancers.

"I hope I can pass to them my passion for the game," dugang pa ni Ylaya. "We will play our hearts out and we will play to win."

Labaw sa paglangkat sa kampiyonato, si Ylaya mipadayag nga duna pa silay mas bug-at nga misyon nga pas-anon sa una niyang pagbiyahe sa PSL.

"Our goal is to give our boys good exposure and experience and at the same time give the basketball fans of Cebu exciting games every time we're on the playing court," dason pa ni Ylaya.

"Most importantly, we want to instill discipline and winning spirit to our team especially that we are representing Mandaue City.

Hopefully with their exposure in the PSL, reputable schools will be giving these kids scholarships and good college education," panapos pa ni Ylaya.
