Mo-file ka sa COC aron mo-withdraw kay magpa-substitute ka?

Ato kning kutluon: “Article IX, Section 77 of the law in question allows  substitution after the filing of candidacy if an official candidate of a registered or accredited political party dies, withdraws or is disqualified for any cause.”

Kining pag-withdraw kinahanglan adunay valid reason, o adunay kabilinggan nga dili kapugngan. Dili kay mo-withdraw ka, tungod kay magpa-substitute ka.

Nagpasabot ba nga mi-file ka sa COC tungod kay magpa-substitute ka? Sa ato pa, wala kay intention nga modagan pagka-presidente.

Alang kang Lacson, itugot lamang ang substitution talagsaong mga hinungdan, sama sa kamatayon o incapacity sa kandidato nga mo-withdraw.

Ang Palasyo namahayag usab nga premature pa ang pag-claim nga gi-abusahan ang lagda bahin sa substitution sa mga kandidato. Ang presidential spokesman, si Harry Roque, nagkanayon:

“Well, I do not know about the supposed abuse (of the rule on substitution) because no one has substituted (for a candidate). Perhaps we would have a conclusion if somebody has substituted.”

Hinumdoman nga sa 2015, si Duterte nga mayor pa sa dakbayan sa Davao, mi-substitute kang Martin Dino isip PDP-Laban standard bearer pagka-presidente. Duna bay mi-question niining pag-substitute ni Duterte?

Dugang ni Matibag: “If the real intent of the Omnibus Election Code envisioned only those who will die along the way or be disqualified, then why didn’t the lawmakers just state so? It’s that simple. If the law is clear there should be no room for interpretation.”

Medyo layo pa ang eleksiyon, ug ang mga political parties have until November 15 to substitute candidates for the 2022 elections, ug samtang wala pa official nga pangampanya, sige na ang debate, kini sa isyo lang sa substitution.
