Pito ka NPA, patay sa engkwentro

CEBU, Philippines — Pito ka mga gidudahang miyembro sa New People's Army  ang napatay sa nahitabong engkwentro tali sa ilang grupo ug sa mga tropa sa gobyerno diha sa Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental niadtong Domingo, Abril 27, 2025.

Ang operasyon gihimo sa mga sakop sa 47th  Infantry Battalion ug 11th  Infantry Battalion ubos sa 302nd  Infantry Brigade sa Joint Task Force (JTF) Spear.

Matud pa sa militar, upat ka engkwentro ang nahitabo tali kanila ug sa mga nahibiling mga sakop sa Southwest Front (SWF) ug Southeast Front (SEF) sa Komiteng Rehiyon-Negros, Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor (KR-NCBS) sa Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Ang engkwentro nagsugod alas 5:30 sa buntag human ang 47th IB  niresponde sa report labot sa presensiya sa rebelde sa maong lugar.

Diha dayun nahitabo ang engkwentro, pagka-alas 6:09 sa buntag nakaengkwentro sab sa grupo sa mga rebelde ang blocking forces sa 11th IB.

Ang ika-upat nga engkwentro nahitabo alas 6:50 sa buntag human gigukod sa 47th IB ang mga niikyas nga mga NPA.

Human sa butobuto, nakit-an ang mga patay’ng lawas sa pito ka mga babayeng gituohang NPA ug na recover sab ang pito ka high-powered firearms, apil ang unom ka M16 rifles ug usa ka M203 grenade launcher.

Ang pito giila nga sila si  Reniel Locsin Cellon alias Kumpol, Mary Jane Maguilat alias Shonie, Jhon Isidro Supelanas alias Dalia, ug usa ka ginganlan nga Pitong, nga giingong salin sa nabungkag na nga Southwest Front (SWF).

Apil sa nakalas mao sila si Jhunrey Mejares alias Jai, Glendel Tinio Mejares alias Ayin, ug Charity Amacan alias Cha, nga giingong salin sab sa nabungkag na nga Southeast Front (SEF).

Si Lieutenant General Fernando Reyeg, Commander sa Visayas Command midayeg sa kakugi sa iyahang mga tawo nga dako og epekto sa CPP-NPA.

Nikuyog siya sa Nagkahiusang Kusog sa Estudyante sugod tuig 2018,  ug nahimong College of Communication, Art, and Design Representative sa UP Cebu USC gikan 2019 hangtud 2021.  Tuig 2020, si Dee nahimong sa coordinator sa National Union of Students of the Philippines Cebu, KASAMA sa UP Secretary General for Membership, ug executive committee member pagbuhi og balik sa Anakbayan UP Cebu.

Tuig 2021, nahimo siyang tigpamaba sa Kabataan Partylist Cebu.
