Rama: School heads makadeklarar og way klase

CEBU, Philippines — Mipagawas og executive order kagahapon  si Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama nga maghatag og  pagtugot sa mga tagdumala sa mga   higher  educational institutions (kolehiyo)  nga mosuspenso  sa klase kun  pananglitan dunay bagyo , baha ug uban pa nga mga kalamidad .

Panagana kini sa mayor kay sa mga miaging adlaw nakasinati og kusog nga mga pag-ulan ang Dakbayan sa Sugbo nga niresulta sa dagkong pagbaha sa nagkadaiyang dapit

"It is a declared policy of the State to uphold the people's constitutional rights to life, health, safety, and property and to promote the general welfare of its people at all times, especially during disasters and calamities as enshrined in Article I section XVI of the 1987 Constitution," tipik sa mensahe nga nahisgotan sa EO.

Sa karaan nga lagda , ang local chief executive maoy mohukom kun isuspenso ba ang klase sa   mga kolehiyo o graduate school kun dunay niabot nga kalamidad.

"The authority of school heads and heads of HEls shall be localized,

based on need and circumstances to prevent the loss of life and bodily harm

of students, in the jurisdiction of their respective schools," tipik sa unod sa EO.

Ang maong EO nahaom usab ilabi na nga magsugod na kasagaran karong Lunes  ang pagbukas ug pagbalik sa  pisikal nga klase sa sunod semana.

Una na nga gibutyag sa chairman sa committee on  peace and order sa konseho nga si Konsehal Phillip Zafra  dinhi sa  Banat News nga dunay lapad nga  koordinasyon ang kagamhanan ug kapolisan aron magmalinawon ang pagbukas sa klase.
