Libreng internet mapahimuslan sa publiko diha sa LTO-7
CEBU, Philippines — Mamahimo na unyang mapahimuslan nga libre sa katawhan ang high-speed internet sa Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 Malasakit Service Center diha sa Natalio Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City.
Kini human nakompleto na sa Department of Information and Communication Technology and installation ang free-speed internet sa maong buhatan.
Niadtong buwan sa Septiyembre sa miaging tuig si LTO-7 Regional Director Victor Caindec ug DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan nagpinirmahay sa Memorandum of Agreement aron maghatag og maayong serbisyo sa publiko.
Ang DICT kasamtangan nga ni-implementar sa Government Network (GovNet) nagtinguha nga motubag sa nag-unang panginahanglan sa gobyerno alang sa transparency, efficiency, ug effective governance pinaagi sa ICT.
Ubos sa kasabutan ang DICT kinahanglan mohatag og usa (1) gigabit (Gbps) connection access ngadto sa GovNet network sa LTO-7.
Ang DICT mihatag sa LTO 7 og duha ka service providers alang sa high-speed connection, usa alang sa publiko ug ang usa alang sa mga kawani sulod sa buhatan.
"As I have mentioned in the past, this partnership is significant to LTO's Management Information System, thru this, we can have a faster and integrated network, in a way we can deliver fast services to the public," dugang ni Caindec. Ang LTO 7 Malasakit Center adunay full capacity nga andam moserbisyo sama sa Malasakit Licensing Office, Drivers Education Center, usa ka legal research library, ug ang e-learning portal.
Nasuta nga ang GovNet parte kini sa E-Government Master Plan sa DICT nga ang tumong mao ang pagtukod sa "fiber-to-the-building connection" alang sa mga ahensya sa gobyerno, mga eskuylahan, Local Government Units, ug mga Ospital sa Metro Manila ug Metro Cebu. —MEL (BANATNEWS)
