Mga Sugboanon nagbangotan sa pagtaliwan ni Sitoy

CEBU, Philippines — Mga lokal nga mga opisyales sa Sugbo mipadangat  og pahasubo sa pamilya Sitoy human sa pagpanaw sa usa sa mga beteranong politico ug kanhi miyembro sa kabinete ni Pres. Duterte nga si Secretary Adelino “Addy” Sitoy.

Si Sitoy gihulagway ni Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella nga champion sa Cebuano culture, history, ug heritage.   Matud pa ni Labella nga maisip si Sitoy nga garbo sa mga Bisaya.

“It is with deep sadness that I learned last night of the passing of Secretary Adelino “Addy” Sitoy, a  longtime friend and colleague in public service,” pamahayag pa sa mayor.

Nipanaw niadtong Huwebes sa gabii si Sitoy sa edad nga 85,  samtang kini nagsilbi nga kalihim sa Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) sa nasud.   “His passing is bittersweet because he left this world on the very day that we blessed the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway, the bridge that links Cordova and Cebu City. As we all very well know, Addy was a key player in realizing this project. He has long been pushing for it and contributed to making it a reality,” dugang pa ni Labella.

Lakip sa mga Sugboanong mga opisyales nga nipadayag sa ilang pahasubo mao si Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes.

“ Secretary Adelino “Addy” Sitoy was instrumental in helping our beloved City become a lone congressional district, all Mandauehanons shall remember him for that, and so many other selfless acts he shared to all Cebuanos.  My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Mano Addy,” sa post ni Cortes sa iyang Facebook page.

Una nang mipadangat si Presidente  Rodrigo Duterte sa iyang pahasubo sa kamatayon sa usa sa iyang mga gabinete.

Nagbangotan pud ang House of Representatives nga gipangulohan ni Speaker Lord Allan Velasco,.
