Opisyales sa Kapitolyo gikiha ni Garcia

CEBU, Philippines – Nipasaka kagahapon og kasong administratiba ug kriminal diha sa Office of the Ombudsman-Visayas si Kongresista Gwendolyn Garcia batok sa mga opisyal sa Kapitolyo.

Lakip ang WT Construction ug Development Bank of the Philippines gipasakaan usab og kaso ni Garcia kalabot sa pagpatukod sa 20-storey resource center.

Kalapasan sa Akta Republika 3019 kun “Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act”, “grave misconduct” ug “conduct prejudicial to the best interests of the service” ang reklamo ni Garcia batok kang Gobernador Hilario Davide, III, Bise Gobernador Agnes Magpale, provincial administrator Mark Tolentino, Willy Te, bise presidente sa WT Construction Inc, ug Marissa Anino, pangulo sa Cebu Lending Center sa DBP.  Usa sa gitumbok ni Garcia nga kalapasan sa administrasyon ni Davide mao ang implementasyon sa maong proyekto nga giingong kalapasan usab sa National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009.

Matud ni Garcia nga ang maong resource center wala mosubay sa probisyon sa national cultural heritage act nga kinahanglang dili mo menos sa lima ka metros gikan sa usa ka historical landmark ang pagpatukod og laing edipisyo.

Si Garcia nagkanayon nga ang pag-execute sa Deed of Assignment With Hold–Out  kalapasan usab kini sa Local Government Code sanglit walay pagtugot nga gihatag ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan ngadto sa gobernador sa pagpatuman niini.

Si Davide sa iyang bahin, nihulagway nga “desperate move” ang pagpasaka ni Garcia og kaso batok kanila.
