Maximum tolerance gisaad sa kapolisan sa SONA ni Duterte

CEBU, Philippines — Giisa na ngadto sa high alert status ang kapolisan alang sa State of the Nation Address ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte karong adlawa, Lunes.

Kagahapon, giplanohan ang pagpakatap sa pwersa sa kapolisan alang sa mga lugar nga posibleng tapokan sa mga militante batok ni Duterte.Apan gipasalig sa kapolisan nga maximum tolerance ang ilang ipatuman.

Samtang ang direktor sa Cebu Provincial Police Office nga si Police Senior Supt. Manuel Abrugena nagkanayon nga alerto na sila ug nagpakatap sab sila og pwersa sa mga dagkong dakbayan ubos sa ilang hurisdiksyon.

Lakip sa ilang bantayan mao ang gawas sa Cebu Provincial Capitol diin pahigayonan og protesta sa mga aktibista. “We have alerted all our personnel and disseminated all guidance coming from the RHQ, instructed our personnel to observe maximum tolerance in dealing with the protesters and organized our personnel to support Cebu City Police Office in any eventualities,” padayag ni Abrugena.

Ang tigpamaba sa Bayan Central Visayas nga si Dyan Gumanao mipahibalo kagahapon nga dungan sa SONA, magpahigayon sila og lihok protesta diha sa Cebu Provincial Capitol Grounds alang sa mubo nga programa dayon molahos sila atubangan sa Police Regional Office 7 alang sa laing programa ug magmartsa sila paingon sa dalan Colon diin ipahigayon ang ilang main program.

“As President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will deliver his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Batasang Pambansa, the people will also present the real state of the nation in the streets. In Cebu, simultaneous protests dubbed as the United People’s Sona,” si Gumanao   mibutyag nga dungan diri sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo, aduna say mga kaubanan nila nga magpahigayon sa maong programa sa Dakbayan sa Toledo ug Isla sa Bantayan.

Sa laing bahin, gipaabot ni Governor Hilario Davide III nga matuki ni Duterte ang updates kalabot sa kampanya batok sa ilegal nga drugas.

“I expect that President Duterte will renew his commitment in the fight against illegal drugs and corruption in fulfillment of his campaign promise,” matud ni Davide.
