Paghawan sa J. Panis St. nagubot

CEBU, Philippines — Gipatuman ni Sheriff Eugene Fuentes ang kamanduan sa korte sa paghawan sa mga gibabag nga culverts sa may dalan J. Panis, Kasambagan, Dakbayan sa Sugbo kagahapo.

Kini human niduso ang Main Hotel and Suites og writ of preliminary injunction batok sa Phoenix Petroleum Inc. sa pagsirado sa dalan nga nakahasol sa ilang mga bisita.

Matud ni Atty. Manuel Zosa III, abogado sa hotel, nga aduna silay mga dokumento nga nagpamatuod nga ang J. Panis St. usa ka national road ug gipanag-iya kini sa gobiyerno.

“They started blocking around 2015 but it was eminent last February which prompted us to file the case because the vehicles could not already pass through the road,” sigun ni Zosa.

Si Zosa nidugang nga niadto pang Marso 12, 2018 giisyu ang maong writ ug ila na kining gihatag sa maong gasoline station apan wala’y aksyon bahin niini.

Sa iyang bahin, si Atty. Inocencio Dela Cerna, abogado sa Phoenix Petroleum Inc., nagkanayon nga pending pa gihapon ang desisyon sa Court of Appeals kabahin sa maong kaso ug maghuwat pa sila sa resolusyon alang sa ilang gipangayo nga temporary restraining order (TRO).

“We are claiming that as our own private property and it has been decided by the court as early as 2011 that the property is private,” sigun ni Dela Cerna.

Apan si Atty. Brando Raya, chief legal officer sa Department of Public Works and Highways-7, nagkanayon nga ang maong dalan parte gihapon sa national road ug ila kini karong gipaningkamutan nga mabalik.

“If the property is already taken, we could file a petition for determination of just compensation ngadto sa DPWH-central office,” sigun ni Raya.

Si Konsehal Dave Tumulak, chairman sa committee on public order and safety sa konseho sa siyudad, nihangyo sa duha ka party nga hinumduman ang maximum tolerance apil na ang law enforcement agencies.
