Cebu City, Cordova nadasig sa CCLEX

CEBU, Philippines - Ang Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) proponents, lokal nga kagamhanan sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo ug Lungsod sa Cordova naglaum sa kaayuhan nga maangkon sa pag-ugmad sa ikatulong taytayan.

Si Konsehal Nendell Hanz Abella, chairman sa Sinulog Executive Committee, nipadayag sa iyang kalipay sa pagsalmot sa CCLEX sa kalihukan sa Sinulog karong tuiga.

“Sinulog is simply Cebuano. It is an expression of our undying faith to Santo Niño and Cebuano pride. With millions of devotees and tourists coming to Cebu just to attend Sinulog, it is an event that connects Cebu City to the rest of the world,” matud ni Abella.

Ang walo ka kilometro nga CCLEX magdugtong sa Cebu City ug Lungsod sa Cordova ug mahimong alternatibong agianan padulong  ug gikan sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

“With Santo Nino’s blessing, we have high hopes for the immediate construction of CCLEX. We are excited as the new bridge will surely stir-up Cordova’s local economy, and lead to its becoming one of the highly-urbanized cities of Metro Cebu and eventually become a competitive eco-tourism gateway in the Visayas,” matud ni Cordova Mayor Mary Therese Sitoy-Cho.

“The economic spin-offs that will be brought about by the project – job generation, trade and commerce, real estate development and tourism related activities, will bring in greater benefits to the Municipality of Cordova, to Cebu City, and Cebu province,” dugang ni Sitoy-Cho.

Isip toll bridge facility nga ugmaron pinaagi sa private-public partnership (PPP) scheme, dili mogasto ang gobiyerno sa pagpatukod niini apan makahatag sa gikinahanglang inprastraktura sa katawhan.
