CEBU, Philippines —  Ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-7) naka-release og kapin sa P115 Million nga kantidad sa TUPAD wages ug livelihood assistance ngadto sa mga benepisaryo sa unang bahin karong buwana.

Suma pa ni DOLE-7 Regional Director, Lilia A. Estillore nga moabot ngadto sa 19,894 workers gikan sa formal ug informal sectors sa Central Visayas ang nakabenipisyo sa maong mga programa.

Ubos sa Livelihood Program, ang DOLE-7 nakapagawas og P32.3 Million alang sa 1,894 workers gikan sa Cebu Province, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Negros Oriental ug Siquijor.

Chili Powder Production and Farming; Turmeric Powder Production and Marketing;

Cattle Fattening and Breeding; Agrivet Supply Trading; Egg Laying Production and Marketing; General Merchandizing; Payaw Fishing; Computer Shop and Printing Services; Upland Tilapia Fish Culture; Native Chicken Production; Ice Production and Storage; Bakeshop; Hog Raising; Bigasan; Internet Cafe; Vulcanizing Shop; ug Buko Juice Selling.

Samtang sa TUPAD o Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged (TUPAD) Workers program, nakapagawas ang DOLE-7 og P82.8 Million alang sa 18,045 ka mga benepisaryo nga nakatrabaho sa mga proyekto nga Clean-Up Drive; Disinfection and Sanitation Activities; Street Sweeping; Cutting of bushes and grasses; ug De-clogging sa mga     kanal.

Ang pagpanghatag sa maong ayudad gipahigayon sa Hoops Dome, Lapulapu City, Cebu; Bohol Quality Atrium, Tagbilaran City, Bohol; ug Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
