VCM testing ug verifications nalay kuwang-COMELEC

CEBU, Philippines — “All systems go.” Mao kini ang paghulagway ni Commission on Election (COMELEC) Cebu City South District Election Officer Mariloy Paredes alang sa umaabot nga May 9, 2022 National ug Local Elections.

Si Paredes miingon nga nagpaabot nalang sila og mando nga i-verify sa Electoral Board kun sakto, way sayop, sakto og gidaghanon ang mga official ballots nga gihipos karon sa Cebu City Treasurer’s Office. Gawas lang sa mga pipila ka mga dokumento sama sa supplies nga gamiton sa Final Testing and Sealing nga himoon karong Mayo 5, adlaw’ng Huwebes kompleto na ang ubang election paraphernalia.

Ang final testing and sealing himoon sa nagkadaiyang voting centers sa siyudad. Kaadlawon sa Mayo 5 ipadala ang mga VCM, ballot boxes ug batteries sa mga voting centers.

“It is very important activity kay we will test the functionality of the VCM if it will be ready for use on election day in case naay problema sa  VCM on FTS day atoa nang ma-resolve and then if ano na gyud ready for use na siya for election…Naa tay contingency or instructed na ang EBs nga if ever wala nay contingency machine we will wait for the other clustered precinct for them to finish and we will use them,” sigon ni Paredes.

Nasayran ang Cebu City dunay 964 clustered precincts diin 520 niini sa South District ug 444 sa North District.
