CEBU, Philippines — Patamnon og kahoy ang mga mo-apply og marriage license sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo. Kini ang gisugyot nga ordinansahon ni Cebu City Councilor Nestor Archival nga mag-require sa mga marriage license applicants nga mananom og duha ka kahoy isip dugang rekisitos alang sa pag-isyu sa marriage license.

Ang propose ordinance gitawag og “No Trees, No License Ordinance” nga giduso na ngadto sa committee on laws, ordinances, and styling ingon man sa Committee on Health alang sa review.

“The increasing number of offspring produced every year is one of the reasons why trees should be preserved and protected because aside from trees being used to build family homes, the number of people who needs the oxygen produced by these trees is increasing. In support to the campaign of the Cebu City Government to plant 3 million trees within three (3) years, a measure which will promote the protection and preservation of the environment is just timely”, tipik sa gisugyot nga ordinansa.

Ang Office of the City Agriculture maoy tahasan nga mohatag og seedlings sa aplikante.
