Cebu City mag-umol og Air Quality Council

CEBU, Philippines — Gipalabang sa konseho sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo ang ordinansa sa pagbaton sa siyudad og Multi-Sectorial Air Quality Council (MSAQC).

Matud ni Konsehal Alvin Dizon, nangamahan sa maong ordinansa nga tumong niini nga mapatigbabaw ang katungod sa katawhan nga makahagap og limpiyo nga hangin.

“This ordinance aims to boost the efficiency of the City of Cebu in ensuring that the people’s rights to health and to a balanced and healthful ecology shall be protected by maintaining a good air quality of the city through useful techniques and proper research studies”, tipik sa section 2 sa maong ordinansa.

Usa sa pagabuhaton niini mao ang paggama og mga pamaagi nga malayo ang katawhan sa air pollution.

Ang Air Quality Council langkuban kini sa mayor isip chairperson; mga konsehal nga naghupot sa committee on environment, committee on health, minority floor leader ug uban pa.

Malakip usab niini ang accredited Cebu City People's Organizations ug Civil Society Organizations; duha ka representante sa  scientific ug  research institutions nga nagbase sa Cebu City; usa ka representante sa  Philippine College of Physicians Cebu City Chapter , ug Cebu Medical Society.
