CEBU, Philippines — Girekomendar sa Cebu City Legal Office ang pagdumili sa dugang bayad ngadto sa Asian College of Technology Educational Foundation (ACT) labot sa tuition fee sa mga scholars.
Si Dr. Joseph Descallar, presidente sa ACT, nihangyo sa kagamhanan sa Siyudad sa Sugbo alang sa pag-release sa bayad gikan sa 2013 hangtud 2017.
Matud ni City Legal Officer Rey Gealon nga adunay usa ka kasabutan tali sa siyudad ug ACT.
“Otherwise, this would tantamount to unjust enrichment to the detriment of the City of Cebu,” matud ni Gealon.
Gitumbok ni Gealon nga ang dugang gipangayo nga bayad nasulod kini ubos sa Judgment on Compromise sa Civil Case No. CEB- 41743 tali sa Siyudad sa Sugbo ug ACT.
“The compromise agreement therein shall bar any claim present, future, or contingent, that each party, may have against the other on any, demands, matter arising from the claims, counterclaims, or causes of actions subject of, or arising from, or by reason of the filing of, the case,” matud sa Judgment on Compromise.
