CEBU, Philippines — Gusto karon ni Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella nga ang iyang asawa ug mga asawa sa mga konsehal sa siyudad nga masakop sa bag-ohay lang gi-convene nga Parks and Playground Commission (PPC) sa siyudad.
“All the wives of the city councilor and my wife will be part of the park and playground commission and some private sectors to be involved in the beautification project in Cebu City. At no salary. They will not receive anything but just in the beautification of the city,” sigon sa mayor.

Editha Peros, ug kauban niya sa maong buhatan silang Bise Mayor Michael Rama, Konsehal Raymond Alvin Dizon, City Agriculturist Joelito Baclayon, City Engineer Kenneth Carmelita Enriquez, City Treasurer Jerone Castillo, City Development Officer Joel Reston, ug gikan sa mga pribadong sektor sama ni Dra. Ma Alma Malilong, Rhea Razo, Rowena Cerojano, ug Maria Alvira Caisip.
Sa memorandum, gimandoan ni Labella ang PPC nga magtigum ug buhaton ang mga katungdanan ug responsibilidad nga gihatag alang sa mga ordinansa sa syudad.
“As such, you are entitled to compensation/honorarium/per diem or any other benefits as provided for in the ordinances and applicable COA rules and regulations,” matud sa memorandum.
Si Labella, bisan pa niana, giingon nga ang mga asawa sa mga opisyales dili makadawat bisan unsang sweldo gikan sa syudad.Matud niya nga tumong lang niya nga mabalik ang katahom sa siyudad sama sa nakita niya nga City Garden sa Xiamen City, China niadtong miaging semana sa iyang pagbisita didto.
