Mga shooting enthusiast apil sa gun ban exemption

CEBU, Philippines — Ang mga shooting enthusiast ang lakip sa mamahimong exempted sa election gun ban matud sa Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Ang Comelec nipagawas kini sa rules and regulations nga ipatuman sa Enero 13, 2019 ngadto sa Hunyo 12, 2019  atol sa election period diin gidili ang pagdala og armas gawas lang kong sakop sa law enforcement unit. Matud ni Atty. Lionel Marco Castillano, provincial election supervisor nga sa bag-ong guidelines nga gipagawas sa commission gawas sa mga law enforcer apil ang mga shooting enthusiast sa ma-exempt sa gun ban. “Ang mga shooting enthusiast are allowed to carry firearms from their place going to the  competitions provided that they are member of a shooting organization ug naapil pod sila sa kanang shooting competitions”, pasabot ni Castillano.

Sa sibilyan, ang mga “high risk individual” lang ang gitugotan nga maggunit og armas gawas sa balay o business area niini.

Ang mga high risk individual kinahanglang identify ug gi-certify usab kini sa Philippine National Police (PNP).

Gawas niini, kinahanglan usab sila nga mag-file og application alang sa Certificate of Authority (CA) ngadto sa Committee in the Ban on Firearms and Security Personnel (CBFSP) sa Comelec.

Ang application form ug uban pang rekisitos alang sa pag-isyu sa CA kinahanglan kining isumiter sa CBFSP office sugod sa Disyembre 1, 2018 hangtod Mayo 29, 2019.

Si Castillano nidugang nga ang mga provincial governor ug House of Representatives ang tugotan nga mahatagan og duha ka security aide atol sa election period. (BANAT NEWS)
