CEBU, Philippines – Gipahinumduman sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang mga kandidato nga moduso sa ilang Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) aron dili sila makasohan.
“Whether you win or lose you must file your SOCE, 30 days after the election,” matud ni Lionel Marco Castillano.
Ang dili makasumiter niini kasohan subay sa Republic Act 7166 nga nag-ingong “No person elected to any public office shall enter upon the duties of his office until he has filed the statement of contributions and expenditures herein required.”
Mamahimo silang pamultahon og dili momenus P2 mil ngadto sa P60 mil hangtud perpetual disqualification o di na makabalik pa sa pagkandidato.
Ang matag kandidato gilimitahan lang nga mogasto og P5 matag botante sa ilang barangay.
Sa pikas bahin mamalik na ang mga polis sa ilang mga unit gikan ni-deploy sa nagkadaiyang lugar tungod sa piniliay.
Matud pa ni Police Regional Office-7 Director Robert Quenery, kon nadeklarar na ang mananaog sa barangay diin nadestino ang mga polis mahimo nang mamauli.
Ang maong mga polis gi-deploy sa 3,003 ka mga barangay sa Central Visayas nga sakop sa Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO), Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO), Cebu Provincial Police Office ( CPPO), Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO), Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO), ug Siquijor Police Provincial Office (SPPO).
