CEBU, Philippines — Ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-7 niluwat og work stoppage order batok sa project manager ug sa tag-iya sa 4-story commercial building nga Primeview Resources, Incorporated human ang usa sa mga construction workers niini natagak ug namatay.

Matud ni DOLE-7 OIC-regional director Cyril L. Ticao nga gipahunong ang tanang operasyon ug mga kalihukan sulod sa maong project site hangtud ang tanang kalapasan ubos  sa Occupational Safety and Health Standards makurhian.

Ang biktima mao si Joseph Luna, 24-anyos,  taga Planta Poblacion, siyudad sa Toledo, mao ang usa sa mga trabahante nga nagkuha sa plywood formworks sa dihang kini  natagak gikan sa fourth floor. 

Ang biktima niadtong higayona wala kini full body harness ug personal protective equipment samtang ang building wala’y catch net, debris catcher ug independent lifeline.

Uban pang mga violation nga nakita sa DOLE-7 mao ang wala’y construction safety-trained safety officers, wala’y Philippine Red Cross-trained first aider, wala’y hard barricade installed sa tanang edges apil na sa hagdanan, wala’y hard hats, safety shoes, uniform, ug uban pa. (BDB) (BANAT NEWS)
