Pagtaud sa transformer sa Mactan dalion sa NGCP
CEBU, Philippines - Paninguhaon sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines nga mahuman gyud nila og taud ang 100MVA transformer sa Lapu-Lapu Gas-Insulated Substation nga moresulta sa duha ka adlaw nga blackout sa Siyudad sa Lapu-Lapu ug sa Lungsod sa Cordova.
Matud ni Ma. Rosette Martinez, tigpamaba sa NGCP-Regional Communication Division, nga ang blackout mahitabo karong Abril 9 ug Abril 15 gikan alas 6:00 sa buntag hangtud alas 5:00 sa gabii.
“The Mactan Electric Company and directly-connected customers will be unable to receive power from Lapu-Lapu GIS during this time,” matud ni Martinez.
Dugang ni Martinez nga mag-blackout gyud sa duha ka adlaw kay pawngon man nila ang duha ka tag 100MVA transformers aron itaud ang dugang 100MVA alang sa Isla sa Mactan.
Ang power supply mobalik human sa alas 5:00 sa hapon sa Abril 9 ug 15 diin ang Lapu-Lapu GIS mabalik na sa iyang original set-up ug ma-normalized na ang operasyon niini.
Nagkanayon si Martinez nga ang bag-ong transformer ma-fully- energized kini sa Hulyo 2017.
“NGCP is taking steps to improve power reliability in Mactan Island by adding a new 100 MVA transformer at its Lapu-Lapu GIS,” matud ni Martinez. Dugang niya nga sa Abril 10 hangtud 14 posible usab nga adunay rotational brownouts sa maong mga lugar.
“It depends pa sa actual load on those dates (April 10 to 14). The call for load reduction based on real time monitoring by our systems operations. The Regional Control Center of systems operations will respond with appropriate actions based on actual load,” dugang ni Martinez. (BANAT NEWS)
